I live & work surrounded by many world renowned National & Provincial Parks & resorts of western Canada.

Initially I developed my career photographing the excitement of many different winter sports for advertising, editorial magazine & specific resort use.  I specifically began with alpine skiing & racing, but the subjects have evolved to also include:

• heli-skiing, backcountry skiing, cross country skiing & racing, snowboarding, mountain biking, mountaineering, backpacking, rock climbing, canoeing, kayaking & other non-mountain sports.
   

• outdoor fashion photography. I have much experience with on location, sport & commercial fashion photography, for editorial & commercial clients.
   

• aerial photography from helicopters & fixed wing planes for commercial use, eg: Kokanee Beer Advertising, CMH Heli-skiing.

Over my 26 year career, I have supplied images to a wide variety of advertising, editorial, event & corporate clients via assignment & stock photography. Some of these clients can be viewed in the portfolio pages of this website. My images have also been available through Masterfile Inc. stock photo agency for the last 19 years.

Apart from my assignment & stock photography work, I photograph the landscapes & nature of western Canada & the USA in all seasons. These scenic images & other images in this website are available for purchase as custom & archival prints through the Print Gallery.
